Drama Queen
One day Pam Sherman, Esquire marched into the partner’s office and said, “Take this job and shove it! I’m going to follow my dream of being an actor.” NOT. The law firm went out of business and she was dragged kicking and screaming into her dreams.
She studied acting at American University, and then later at Oxford and the Neighborhood Playhouse. She performed regularly in Washington, D.C. area theaters, including a year and a half at the Kennedy Center as Mrs. Shubert in Shear Madness. Her television appearances include “Homicide” and “Unsolved Mysteries.” She also appeared in numerous industrials and commercials, and was most famous for being the pin-up girl for the American Academy of Actuaries (the people who don’t have enough personality to become accountants). She is a member of Actor’s Equity and the Screen Actor’s Guild.
